Aqua for All

Aqua for All is a non-profit organization established in 2002 and based in the Netherlands. They began by supporting water & sanitation initiatives targeting the very poor in developing countries with funding and expertise. With roots from both the public and private sectors, Aqua for All is uniquely positioned to be a key advisor in the creation of well-functioning Public Private Partnerships (PPPs). Over the years their services have broadened to meet new demands of clients and partners in a changing sector. They now connect money to value and value to money and act as an interface: They provide financiers with high impact initiatives in which to invest and in turn they match quality programs with suitable funding solutions. Aqua for All’s mission is to maximize the impact and value of water & sanitation initiatives. They select and support programs that are crucial for reaching Sustainable Development Goal #6. These initiatives generate both financial and social return.

Aqua for All applies various financing methods to mitigate risks and make investments more attractive, thereby triggering increased involvement from the private sector. Wherever they can, they offer their expertise to make good programs even better. One of the keys to their success is the focus on innovation, upscaling and (financial) sustainability, they believe that business and sustainability go hand in hand. Programs succeed in the long term when they stimulate local markets and provide jobs.
