CAT (Centre for Appropriate Technology) Cameroon is an organization who’s mission is to irradicate poverty and improve the quality of the environment in Cameroon through the development and use of appropriate technology. They are currently focusing on a Rural Electrification programme, for which local natural resources can be used to provide electricity for rural communities.
* Ice-fix devices for cooling vaccines without electricity
* Dynamo power unit which uses a pedal to generate electricity. It can be used to charge phones, batteries, laptops, lights, when there is no electricity.
