सामान्यतः यह तकनीक सरल और इस्तेमाल में आसान होती है. अमूमन सरकारी संस्थान और खेतिहर समुदाय मिल कर कार्यस्थल पर वर्षाजल संचयन की तकनीक को बढ़ावा देते हैं. उपयोगकर्ताओं को इस तकनीक के लाभ और वर्षाजल संचयन को लागू करते हुए मृदा की क्षति से बचाव के उपाय के बारे में सूचित करने के लिए शैक्षणित और सूचनापरक कार्यक्रम उपलब्ध कराये जाने चाहिये.
